Covid-19 Vaccine
The NHS is currently offering the COVID-19 vaccine to everyone aged 16 and over. Some children and young people aged 12-15 will also be offered the vaccine if they live with someone who is more likely to get infections or they have a condition that means they are at high risk from COVID-19. The vaccine is safe and effective. It gives you the best protection against coronavirus.
It’s also important that everyone who is eligible takes up both doses of the vaccine as two doses give the best protection.
If you have a question, talk to your GP or Health Professional, or you can find answers to some frequently asked questions here: www.beatcovidne.co.uk.
It’s never too late to get the vaccine. If you were previously invited, but haven’t taken up the offer yet, get in touch with your GP Practice who can arrange an appointment for you. You can find out more about the vaccine from the NHS Website
